Hard to believe August is upon us and that summer break will come to a close shortly. We have several new fall workshops planned that you will read about in the upcoming TVCC fall 2010 catalog. The Veterans Small Business Management series is definitely one to put on your calendar. If you know a small business owner or manager who is a veteran, this program is an exceptional opportunity for that veteran to work “on” as well as “in” his/her business in order to achieve business, family and personal goals. The program is designed and proven to improve small business owner’s management skills. The program consists of monthly classroom sessions with instructor and peers, as well as monthly personalized business advising meetings. The workshop series begins on September 16th. The cost for the 9, 3-hr workshops and business advisory is only $125; a reduction from the normal $725! There is an opportunity for scholarships.
