Legal Issues Involved in Starting and Operation a Business
This two-hour workshop will provide entrepreneurs with valuable legal information related to starting a new business including but not limited to: 1. whether the business should be formed as a limited liability company or a corporation. 2. Legal issues to be considered when starting a business with two or more owners. 3. Whether a new business should hire employees or engage independent contractors. 4. Identifying important legal issues to be considered before signing a lease agreement. 5. And, other valuable information relating to business start-ups. The workshop will be presented by local Eugene attorney, Jill Fetherstonhaugh, who will be available to answer general legal questions posed by participants.
